Hi to all at NSL! OK, the blog has been set up and we are ready to post! The most exciting thing about doing this was choosing the colours and design - lots of orange!!
It seems weird to be posting thoughts online for all to read. Diaries and journals used to be private - a way of expressing thoughts that no-one else would share. Now it seems as though our opinions are not worthwhile unless validated by everyone else reading them in cyberspace!

It is a bit strange to put your thoughts out so publicly, isn't it? Best to do a double-check that there's nothing you don't want the world to see before sending your post off into cyberspace.

Yes...I totally agree. This is all very foreign for someone bought up as typical teenager who would have been horrified if anyone got hold of my diary!! Now as you say, everyone seems to need the validation of having other people read about their lives and thoughts and give them feedback on it!! Maybe I could should start putting my own thoughts and frustrations out there for the world to read and when they judge and comment on them I could think of it as free 'therapy on line'!!
